  1. Yes, that is the whole point. It is the "new" way of making a family album. :)

I have a whole stack of these in my bookcase now instead of the old photo albums.

Yes, use all your family pictures for your book.

If you are using new digital photos, then you can make the photo part of your scrapbooking as large as you like. That is, it can take up as much of the page as you like.

But if you are using older scanned photos, then stick to the rule of keeping them at a reasonable size in your completed scrapbook layout, or they will be a bit blurry when they are printed out in a book as they do not "stretch" to become any larger.

Have a folder, like my "May Book" folder, with all the layouts that you are going to publish into your book.

Save them all at 2400 and size 12. Otherwise they do not print well.

Took published a book last year. It looked fantastic! A 40 page one. I do 120 page ones or sometimes an 80 page one.

  3. The bloggers PhotoHunt is only for adults.

You can personally be in charge of starting up one for our own bloggers.

Think up a catchy name, like PhotoHunt and send a comment to all our bloggers including me. Include Slinky Dragon too.

Then you publish the themes. You need to pick a lote of themes, like, 10, ahead of time.

    Examples of themes are:

    metal, tea cup, window, blue

Entires are either just photos or people can put up a layout or plopper.

Check each step with me, before you contact others as I have final say as to what we are doing with the blogging.

Now - this kit - give me more information.

  4. You are still using the wrong way to put in your name to comment.

Anyone reading topcatrules can see your comment, click on your link and be taken to your blog.

You must use the "name" one and type in your name. Then it doesn't become a hyperlink, and no one can get into your blog.

This is a very important part of our educational internet saftey rules.

And I have to go into topcatrules and delete the whole comment as it links back to you. :)

  5. When you comment on anyone's blog, you MUST comment using the Name/URL and just put your name, but not the URL.

OK, all elements are saved as PNGs because they have the checkerboard around them.

All background pages are saved as Jpegs.

Then you save it all in one folder with the name of the kit.

Can you put what you have done up on your blog so I can see it?
